Decorative painting encompasses all broken color techniques and adds a rich design element, whether bold or subtle, to any interior space. There are many decorative finishes that can enhance walls, ceilings, floors, woodwork, and architectural elements. You can select from a variety of traditional finishes such as glazing or decorative plasters for walls and ceiling. You can accent a space using gilding or trompe l'oeil (meaning "fool the eye"). You can transform a dining room using wall stencils over banded color to appear as if it were damask fabric. If you have a windowless room, a painted rendition with a landscape scene can change your whole outlook. Decorative finishes can reflect your individual style and color palette not to mention the added value to your home. The sky is the limit, and we can paint that for you, too!
Decorative Painting Pricing
Pricing varies greatly and can range from $1.25 to $12.00 per square foot. Design 2 Finish LLC requires a consultation fee for decorative painting clients. This fee is deducted from the final payment of the job. Sample boards are very important for your approval. The cost of one sample board, based on information gathered at the consultation, is included in the job contract.
